The 2 1/2 car ride over is a bit tedious when you're crammed into seats that barely fit an average-sized person, but the breakfast provided makes the trip a little easier to bear. There is nowhere to buy food, only a snack vendor who sells chips at the restroom stop. Would have been nice to have something to eat on the ride home after wandering around for 2 hours in the blistering sun. But Chichen Itza itself is incredible and I'm glad I did the Express tour instead of the whole day, which gave us just enough time to shop at the pyramids and snap some good touristy photos.

Great tour, very professional. I have very mixed feelings about the detour to a large and over-priced gift shop prior to the visit. However, the tour guide was knowledgeable. Strongly would have liked an extra half hour of free time at the site. One hour on your own is really not enough time at all. Would be willing to pay a little extra to have additional time. As it was we barely got to take photos and grab something to eat before rushing back to the bus. All in all very pleased we took this tour.

The bus was very nice, but still very uncomfortable for tall people. And, the shopping stop was totally unnecessary. And, there were way too many stops picking up tour participants - it would be easier to meet in a central location.

Chichen was great but the tour guide talked too much he knew all the history but you want to see more than just stand and learn all the history. We had to split and explore on ourselves.

This was an excellent tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel. We traveled in a new, modern coach. Our tour guide, Norma, did an excellent job. She is extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan people and their history as well as the history of the ruins. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The breakfast on the coach was more than adequate and there was an opportunity to purchase food and drinks at the site. There is also plenty of free time at the site to walk around, take photos, or just sit and relax.

This trip went flawlessly. We had an extremely Huge/Comfortable bus, that arrived on time. We also had a very knowledgable tour guide that explained alot of facts on the ruins. We booked the shorter tour and it was great for the first visit. Its a long ride there and back so dont hesitate taking this bus. Way better than a cramped cab or older bus.

I felt that only two hours on site made it a bit rushed. Another thirty minutes would have allowed a little longer for photographs and a tour of the market. Otherwise a very informative and spectacular trip.
